Back to the Basics: Beans ‘n Cornbread

Just wanted to show you what I had for dinner tonight: Black and Kidney Beans mixed with 505 Green Chile Sauce, and homemade cornbread.  The cornbread recipe is from Alicia Simpson’s Vegan Comfort Food, but I add 1 tsp. more sugar.  Best cornbread I ever made!  Slightly crunchy, golden brown crust on the outside, moist and tender inside.

Add some vegan cheez and some hotsauce and you’re good to go!
